Schirmherr der Gr\u00fcndung war der aus Bleiburg\/Pliberk geb\u00fcrtige T\u00e4nzer, Choreograph und Regisseur Johann Kresnik (1939-2019), einer der Pioniere des modernen Tanztheaters. Ziel des CCB war und ist es, in der Tradition der Arbeit Johann Kresniks, zeitgen\u00f6ssischen Tanz mit gesellschaftspolitischem Engagement zu verbinden. Als zweisprachige K\u00e4rntner Kulturinstitution will das CCB mit seinen k\u00fcnstlerischen Produktionen \u2013 herk\u00f6mmliche Grenzen und Begrenzungen \u00fcberschreitend \u2013 m\u00f6glichst viele Menschen erreichen und f\u00fcr die Kunstform Tanz und Performance begeistern. Das soll erreicht werden mit Eigenproduktionen, Gastspielen, Workshops, Residenzen und Symposien, mit Sparten\u00fcbergreifendem, Jugendarbeit, Vermittlungsprogrammen, nationalen und internationalen Kooperationen.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><strong style=\"color: #ffffff;\" data-start=\"293\" data-end=\"341\">Das CCB Tanzb\u00fcro Villach | biro plesa Beljak<\/strong><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\"> ist eine Initiative des CCB und fungiert als zentrale Anlaufstelle f\u00fcr zeitgen\u00f6ssischen Tanz in Villach und K\u00e4rnten. Es b\u00fcndelt Aktivit\u00e4ten zur St\u00e4rkung der regionalen Tanzszene, f\u00f6rdert den Austausch und die Zusammenarbeit zwischen Tanzschaffenden, Kulturschaffenden und Institutionen und realisiert eine Vielzahl an Projekten im Bereich Tanz und Performance.
